About Us

 

Bridget E. Burdick, DVM

Dr. Bridget Burdick is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Burdick has worked at GVVH since 2001 while completing her undergraduate degree and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She is married and has two cats, Reese and Snickers, and one Bull Mastiff named Rocco. She has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and enjoys traveling, reading and any outdoor activities.

Dr. Burdick is very excited to return to GVVH and looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Marcie

Marcie is a Registered Veterinary Technician and received her degree in Associate of Applied Sciences degree in 2001. She has worked at the GVVH since 1998.

Marcie enjoys the relationships that she has formed with the clients over the years, both four-legged and two-legged, and loves living and working in the German Village/Merion Village area.

Marcie and her partner Brent have rescued and adopted many dogs. In addition to working at GVVH, Marcie owns her own pet retail store downtown called Lots to Wag About.

Leah

Leah has worked at GVVH since 2003 as a veterinary assistant and recently became the office manager. She graduated from the Ohio State University in 2006 with a degree in Zoology.

Leah is married and has 2 dogs (Krenzel and Karamel) and 2 cats (Eesha and Doodles). In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and loves watching college football, especially the Buckeyes. Her favorite thing about working at GVVH is forming relationships with clients and patients.

Staci
Staci

Staci is currently a nursing student at Mount Caramel College of Nursing, working towards earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Staci’s favorite part of working at GVVH is the chance to get to know the clients and their pets on a more personal level. In her free time, Staci enjoys baking, reading and watching movies. She has one cat named “Lucy” who keeps her very busy and entertained!.

Ty
Ty

Ty is a Registered Veterinary Technician and earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in 2007. He has worked at GVVH since May 2009 and has worked in the animal field around central Ohio since 2003.

Ty and his wife have two dogs, two cats, and three rats that are all spoiled rotten! He also enjoys reading, watching movies, and performing magic. Ty loves his career choice and likes helping pets and their owners.

Rachel
Rachel

Rachel is currently working as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Animal Science and Technology, and she is currently pursuing her Masters in Veterinary Public Health at OSU.

Rachel is new to Ohio, but loves the Columbus area and OSU. She currently has no pets of her own, but she plans to adopt a dog in the near future. Rachel has a passion for veterinary medicine, and she hopes to work as a public health veterinarian in the (not too far) future.

Jessica

Jessica is our part time receptionist. She is currently attending the Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree. She is majoring in Zoology and minoring in Animal Sciences. Her ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school.

Jessica has a baby chinchilla named Buggs and a kitten named Layla. She recently moved to Columbus and enjoys exploring the city in her free time. She also enjoys playing the guitar, saxophone and piano; as well as, reading and being outdoors.
