"My 2 pugs and my cat all go to the German Village Veterinary Hospital and I am extremely happy with their care.  Dr. Burdick answers all my questions, provides them care when they get sick and also provides practical advice to keep them healthy.  My cat behaves so poorly from the time we walk through the door at GVVH that I barely recognize the sweet boy that lives in my house.   Somehow Dr. Burdick is able to calm him down to examine him.  She is patient and my animals really like Dr. Burdick and all the staff at GVVH.  Thank you!"     Mindy M.

"I've been very pleased with the service provided by GVVH ever since I started bringing Heidi, my new 8 week old German Shorthair Pointer puppy to see Dr. Judy way back in 1996. We've since moved away from the Village but continue to bring my now 14 year old pup to see Dr. Burdick and the caring staff.  Heidi always gets very excited as we enter the Village and turn into the parking lot at GVVH because she knows she will be seeing familiar friendly faces and getting lots of love and treats! Thanks for all of your great service over the years."     Sharon W.

"I adopted Chelsea, a one year old cat, from the Franklin County Animal Shelter, in June 2010.  I looked online to find a Vet that was close by and one that I thought would be good to take Chelsea to for a check-up. When I saw German Village Vet Hospital's online presence, I saw that they worked with our Franklin County Animal Shelter and I called to make an appointment.  Chelsea was well cared for at her initial visit. All of the staff members were very friendly, caring and seemed to be comfortable with cats. There was a separate entrance to the building for people bringing in their dogs and cats with separate waiting rooms - very nice! I'd not seen this amenity before and thought it was pretty great. Dr. Burdick was terrific! Not having had a pet for about 15 years, Dr. Burdick and her staff explained all of the shots, boosters, and preventive things needed to keep Chelsea healthy.  I felt comfortable leaving German Village Vet Hospital and would recommend them to others who have pets and are looking for good care."    Marilyn B.

"I've taken my pets to German Village Vet Hospital since 2005.  I'm always impressed with the caring and compassionate doctor and staff, the convenient office hours, and the true interest they show in my pets."    Chris B.

"I was referred to the German Village Vet Hospital by a friend from Arizona.  My experience has been so wonderful.  My type A personality Chihuahua luvs the doc and the vet techs.... I have recommended you numerous times !  Thank you for being so kind and so professional."

"For 14 years, a beautiful Chartreux named Jake was my best friend and companion. I first took
him to the German Village Veterinary Hospital because it was so close. We continued to go
because Jake was so comfortable with Dr. Judy and all the staff, even though Jake did not like
strangers. When Dr. Judy became ill, Jake seemed perfectly comfortable with the various vets who filled in. And when Dr. Burdick bought the practice, Jake quickly transferred his affections to her. Jake had a weak immune system, and the hospital was like a second home to us. But he never once showed any sign that he was upset. Unfortunately, Jake died last December, and the staff at the hospital couldn’t have been nicer. I know Jake spent his last few minutes among friends.

After Christmas, I brought home a little Calico I named Lucy from the local adoption center.
Lucy, too, is very comfortable with Dr. Burdick and all the staff, and as far as I’m concerned,
nothing is more important than how my cat feels. The fact that most of the vet techs have
worked at the hospital longer than I can remember makes me feel good.
If I feel good and my cat feels good, it must be a good place."

"I was a brand new cat owner when we rescued our first kitty, Hugo. He was a sweet, rambunctious little guy who captured my heart immediately. I began to take him to GVVH just out of convenience, because it was the closest vet to my home. One day, though, we noticed Hugo not acting like his usual self. I took him back in to GVVH, and Dr. Burdick was very receptive to my concerns. She recognized that I know my pet best, and so if I noticed it there was definitely something wrong. She diagnosed him quickly with a life-threateningly low anemia, and even though they couldn't treat it there, she referred me to another hospital. She communicated quickly and efficiently with them, faxing over all Hugo's records and communicating several times a day with the vets over there to make sure he got the right treatment. He bounced right back after a quick transfusion and is now his old goofy self. Dr. Burdick's quick response and excellent follow-through saved my little guy's life. Now I swear by GVVH and their fantastic staff, and have even adopted another kitty from them!"   Kristen B.
