Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Bridget Burdick DVMDr. Burdick is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University. Dr. Burdick has worked at GVVH since 2001 while completing her undergraduate degree and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She is married, has 2 sons and 1 daughter, 2 french bulldogs named Bleu and Yoshi and a Siamese mix cat named Frankie. She has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and enjoys traveling, reading and any outdoor activities. Dr. Burdick looks forward to meeting you and your pets. |
Dr. Janelle Marette DVMDr. Janelle Marette is a 2016 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She also received her undergraduate degree in Zoology and Animal Science at The Ohio State University. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes and is a “generalist” at heart (she loves all the different aspects of Veterinary Medicine!). Dr. Marette and her husband Tony met at OSU and are avid Buckeye fans. They have a daughter and a pitbull-mix named Cinci, named after Cincinnati where she was rescued. She enjoys traveling as well as exploring and enjoying Columbus with her family in her free time. Dr. Marette has been with GVVH since May 2020. |
Dr. Megan Geiger DVM Dr. Megan Geiger grew up in a small town of Alliance, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State in Texas. After completing her undergraduate degree she lived in Chandler, Arizona where she worked as a vet tech for 3 years before going back to school. Dr. Geiger graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020. She worked in Cincinnati right after graduation but is super excited to be back in Columbus and joining GVVH! She has an interest in surgery and dermatology but also loves learning about all aspects of vetmed. Dr. Geiger currently lives with her boyfriend and fur baby, an old lab named Tyson. In her free time she works out, travels, and loves to find new series to watch on Netflix and Hulu. Dr. Geiger joined GVVH in January 2021. |
Dr. Sarah VanGundy DVMDr. Sarah VanGundy grew up in a small rural town of Sidney, Ohio. She graduated from Wilmington College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation she accepted a one year small animal internship in Indianapolis at the VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center before entering small animal medicine. Dr. VanGundy’s interests include surgery and orthopedic medicine. She and her husband Zac have three fur babies – a Great Dane named Tank, Mika the tabby cat, and Daphne the calico - as well as a wonderful daughter. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and unwinding with various crafts. Dr. VanGundy has been with GVVH since September 2020. |
