Dr. Elisabeth Schiller
I grew up in Cincinnati, OH, and often visit my family and childhood rescue dogs. I earned my
B.S. at UMass Amherst in 2019, where I worked with alpacas and donkeys, even traveling to
Peru to work with alpaca herds. After two years as a veterinary assistant, I attended Ross
University for vet school and completed my clinical year at Ohio State, graduating in January
2025.
I have a strong interest in endocrine diseases like diabetes, hypo/hyperthyroidism, and
Addison’s disease, enjoying the challenge each case presents. Seeing our best friends return to
their happy, playful, lively selves after their disease is appropriately managed is the best reward!
I also have a deep love for rescue and foster animals. I myself have a very shy, timid rescue dog
at home and know how hard vet visits can be for our fearful friends and their owners. I’m
passionate about providing them with the care they deserve while also creating a comfortable
and accommodating environment.
At home, I spend time with my playful, chaos-causing tabby cat, Newt, and my island dog,
Raven. In my free time, I love reading, going to Lagree Pilates, and enjoying game nights or
dinners with friends.
